2 AA Rosette restaurant in Brighton
GB1 brings a touch of playfulness to any mealtime. This 2AA Rosette restaurant developed by Executive Chef Alan White and his passionate brigade offers a contemporary vibe which steps sensitively away from the hotel’s historic character and Regency architecture. We are currently serving a reduced dinner menu of seasonal GB1 favourites in our Victoria Terrace every evening.
Most Grand mornings start with a Grand breakfast. If you’re staying with us, you’ll enjoy a complimentary array of continental and hot breakfast favourites. Or, choose a surprisingly generous dish from our a la carte breakfast menu, and wash it down with a GB1 sunrise breakfast cocktail (non-alcoholic!), or even a Bloody Mary; before braving Brighton seafront from the best launch pad in the city.
A reduced menu of seasonal GB1 favourites is currently being served in the evenings in our beautiful Victoria Terrace. Oysters and caviar sit seamlessly alongside a menu packed with heritage vegetables, locally sourced ingredients and fresh seafood. This includes a vegan menu full of bright and beautiful dishes. Leave room for dessert, because you don’t want to miss the beautifully designed delights our chefs have perfected.
Executive Chef, Alan White's luxury dining menus offer a high-end and exclusive dining experience. Complementing GB1, the six menus adopt use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, making them a celebration of Sussex. Wine pairing is also available.
Private dining is available from 14 to 20 guests. Numbers are restricted for some of the smaller rooms. Other private dining menus and options for larger group sizes are available. Groups of 14 and under can also dine in GB1 together. Please contact the team to discuss your individual requirements.

Meet the team
Alan White is the Executive Chef at The Grand Brighton, where he has been directing the 2 AA Rosette GB1 restaurant, lounge, terrace and bar - including an award-winning afternoon tea - and banqueting menus for up to 650 guests, for over 14 years.
Katerina is the Restaurant Host at The Grand Brighton and has been working here for 3 years. She absolutely loves her job as it gives her a platform to get to know our guests. She has the biggest smile and will ensure you leave having had the greatest experience!
Pedro is our Restaurant Manager and has been leading GB1 for the past year. He has huge passion when it comes to food and beverage, which is infectious amongst the team. He loves building relationships with our valued guests over a fantastic dining experience.
